Have you heard of that before? It's the first time for me. I'm really excited about it though because I still get to travel to the other wards and branches with Keith on Sunday, but be in Young Womens too. Is that the best of both worlds or what?<br /><br />I've been trying to brainstorm some ideas on how to get the girls in our ward excited about doing their PP. I've been toying with all sorts of ideas, everything from flow charts to bribery. I know a lot of you are very creative and have had a lot more experience with this sort of thing than I have... If you have any great ideas on how to get teenage girls enthused about doing their PP please share.Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15280585945327760710noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4085970112221957339.post-30355665838880642892009-12-26T19:03:00.000-08:002009-12-26T19:50:40.422-08:00Christmas in Colorado<div style="text-align: left;">For Christmas this year my family (Ezra, Dee <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">dee</span></span>, 7 kids, spouses and <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"><span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">grandkids</span></span>) met up at my sister Jenn's ranch in Rifle, Colorado. We had a great time skiing, playing games, shooting guns, etc. On Christmas Eve the whole crew went to the local sledding hill to take advantage of the snow. Natalie, my sister Krista and I decided to show everybody how it's done. Below is video of us doing the first <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">toboggan</span> run of the day. I'm in front Natalie is in the middle, Krista is in back.</div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dx-rbNu0AxxFpoUy7gng2hzZZCg1Z7mMkHpcD4_srAFuCa2c-LKbl3-LClxJ3K6SLQhZWdmqoRouak3RNwphA' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">It doesn't look too bad, but I didn't exactly stick the landing. The textbook screenshot below proves that indeed detached earlobes are normal and therefore the best. Attached earlobes, a.k.a. "Adherent lobule", not so much. See for yourself...<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8i1LcKHqCQ/SRpWy4kpttI/AAAAAAAAAJk/TdBfus8ZTb4/s1600-h/ears.png"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 406px; height: 668px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n8i1LcKHqCQ/SRpWy4kpttI/AAAAAAAAAJk/TdBfus8ZTb4/s400/ears.png" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267618146342778578" border="0" /></a>Keithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03266573474622186562noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4085970112221957339.post-74956774777029916862008-07-27T22:12:00.000-07:002008-12-09T03:00:37.099-08:00What's with the lobes? So the whole ear-thing started a long time ago when Keith and I had a lengthy discussion about earlobes. My whole life I've always thought that attached earlobes were the more coveted type of lobe. I thought attached had more longevity because as you got older they didn't get all danglely. However, Keith brought up an opposing argument and said that attached earlobes make your face sag down as you get older and it's better to just have saggy earlobes instead of saggy earlobes and a saggy face. We thought that the best way to settle this disagreement would be to take a little survey.<br /><br />Here are some things to consider before voting.<br /><br />Figure 1: The David<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CIp1eb0Nn-E/SI1XxW-qB6I/AAAAAAAAAFo/WhtdeMUemYg/s1600-h/david.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5227931247940601762" style="CURSOR: pointer" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CIp1eb0Nn-E/SI1XxW-qB6I/AAAAAAAAAFo/WhtdeMUemYg/s200/david.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I think the picture speaks for itself. This sculpture is know for its timeless beauty and golden proportions. I'm pretty sure Michelangelo knew what he was doing when he made the earlobes attached.<br /><br />Figure 2: Girl with a Pearl Earring<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CIp1eb0Nn-E/SI1YmMhLFwI/AAAAAAAAAFw/30uJMeED88Y/s1600-h/pearl.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5227932155665651458" style="CURSOR: pointer" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CIp1eb0Nn-E/SI1YmMhLFwI/AAAAAAAAAFw/30uJMeED88Y/s200/pearl.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />With earrings like this you need an attached earlobe for support!<br /><br />What do you think?Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15280585945327760710noreply@blogger.com7
