Grr, 'Pa & Shell Come to Visit (Part 2)

We took our first trip to Salzburg while my parents were out. It was snowy and cold, but beautiful. We decided to skip the Sound of Music tour considering the weather conditions (Keith and my dad were actually really disappointed), and opted instead for cruising the Christmas market and watching Sound of Music late at night in the hotel room (with Czech subtitles). There is something magical about watching that movie in Salzburg, even in the middle of winter.

We actually drove half way up this very narrow, snowy and icy street - until the car mirrors started scraping the walls - because the GPS told us to. It was a little reminiscent of this Office episode

Keith was freaking out a bit when my dad wanted this picture with Ezra. Outside the window is an extremely high drop off the castle. I'm pretty sure this big hole in the wall wouldn't be allowed in the U.S.

Christmas goodies at the market.

Salzburg is an unbelievably beautiful city. It is storybook-like around every corner. I could have spent a day just walking through the streets.
