"I Spy" Quilt

Keith's aunt Anna-Kare made this beautiful "I Spy" quilt for a charity auction a few years ago. We were lucky enough to win it. I didn't realize, until Ezra turned one, how fantastic it is. Ezra and I have spent literally hours the last two weeks looking at it. Right now Ezra's favorite thing to look for is the "buuh" or butterfly. If I were a little more domestically savvy I'd make a bunch of these for baby shower gifts. Alas, quilting, just another skill to add to my list of things to learn how to do.

It's always great to have something that keeps them interested. What an education he's getting too. :)

It looks like a fantastic quilt. Someday, I might try to be a quilter, even if just for the projects I want to make for myself that are stacking up.

Happy Birthday today! I definitely think that one little gift for your 30th bday is not too much to ask! ;) It would be the best "souvenir" from Austria and you could start enjoying it now.

Love seeing Ezzie enjoying his quilt!
